If you notice a problem with the water pressure in your home, it could mean that you have to make a few adjustments to the water pressure regulator. Most homes do not have pressure regulator installed, but if you have one and it is not adjusted properly, you could have either too much, or too little pressure in your faucet or shower. With the right tools, you will be able to adjust the water pressure regulator by yourself instead of calling in the plumber.

If you’ve noticed discolouration on your shower head (chalky white, green or brown) and it runs with very little power, then it probably means you’ve got a lot of calcium or limescale build up. So if this is what is happening to you, here’s what you can do about it without necessarily having to call your local plumber.
